The Otter Valley Unified Union School District will hold its Annual District meeting for all  Brandon, Goshen, Leicester,  Pittsford, Sudbury and Whiting registered voters on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 6:30 PM at OVUHS.

The Barstow Unified Union School District will hold its Annual District meeting for all Chittenden and Mendon registered voters on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at 6:30 PM at the Barstow Memorial School.

Seat Openings 
Interested in becoming more involved in the school system?

Consider becoming a school board member.  


The Otter Valley Unified Union School District and the Barstow Unified Union School District have the following openings for the Office of School Board of Director* for the coming election in March 2019:

OVUUSD
        Brandon – 2 Seats (1 – for a three year term; 1 - for the remaining one year of a three year term)
         Goshen (for the remaining two years of a three year term)
         Pittsford 
         Sudbury
         At - Large (candidates can be from any of the OVUUSD towns: Brandon; Goshen; Leicester; Pittsford Sudbury; and Whiting)

BUUSD
       Chittenden
       Mendon
       At-Large (New Seat - two year term)

*All seats are three year terms unless otherwise stated.

Petitions are available at your Town Clerk’s Office and the Rutland Northeast Supervisory Union Central Office at 49 Court Drive in Brandon.  Requests for petitions can also be made by calling the RNESU Central Office at (802) 247-5757.

Completed petitions are due to your Town Clerk by Monday, January 28, 2019.  Petitions for town specific seats require signatures of the lesser of 1% of registered voters or 30 signatures.  Petitions for at-large seats require the signature of 60 registered voters.
