2021 Annual Open Enrollment
The open enrollment period will be October 15th-October 31st, and any changes made during open enrollment will be effective on January 1, 2021.

You may reference your bi-weekly paycheck stub for your current plan enrollments.

Are there tools or informational meetings available to compare my current plan enrollment vs the 2021 plan options?
VEHI has developed a tool to help navigate employees through plan decisions. We encourage you to use this tool to assist in making your health insurance elections for the upcoming year. VEHI 2021 Decision Support Site. 

Brenda Fleming, Director of Business and Finance and Brooke Dahlin, Human Resources Coordinator will be holding two informational Google hangout sessions to discuss general information about the VEHI plans, review the VEHI website and provide information about Health Reimbursement Accounts and Health Savings Accounts. Should you wish to attend please complete the Google form to sign up so we can send you the link to join the meeting.

What if I need to make a change to my plans after open enrollment?
Once the enrollment deadline is past, your choices are binding until the next open enrollment period.  The only exceptions allowed are if you experience a qualifying life event.  Completed enrollment forms and documentation of qualifying life events will be required within 31 days of the event.  A list of possible qualifying life events and supporting documentation include:
Marriage
Divorce
Documentation – Copy of divorce decree.
Newly Eligible Dependents: Birth/Adoption (Up to Age 26)
Loss of Coverage  for a Spouse
Documentation – Letter from spouse’s insurance provider stating you and any dependent(s) are no longer covered by their insurance plan.

Over the next few days, you will receive two more emails regarding open enrollment:  
The first e-mail will include a summary of benefits and coverage, health insurance plan rates/employee deductions per pay, and details about the health insurance plan as required under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.

The second e-mail will be a google form. Action Required: All employees need to complete this process regardless of eligibility. The google form will walk you through the process and will include enrollment forms for you to make any desired changes to your health or dental plans. FSA, DCA , LPFSA and/or HSA forms , Declaration of Health Care form and lastly, the  Cash In Lieu form should you wish to opt out.
