Northeast Delta Dental Student Certification

Don’t forget – Northeast Delta Dental (NEDD) is conducting dental student certification on behalf of VEHI. NEDD will mail student certification letters on August 1. Subscribers will have until August 31to respond. If no response is received, the dependent will be removed from the plan and will not be eligible for coverage until the next open enrollment period.

Remember that unlike health, dental coverage is not automatic to age 26. Dependents are covered only to age 19, but can be covered up to age 25 as long as they remain a full time student. 

Mandated Reporting

School employees are considered mandated reports of child abuse/neglect in the State of Vermont. Below you will find a link to a memo from the Department for Children and Families Family Services Division. Also, is a slideshow hitting on key points you should be aware of.
 
Within the next week you will receive a mandatory training link from Safeschools.com. The purpose of Safeschools is to review the information provided below and to equip you, as the employee with the knowledge you need to react and handle certain situation with confidence.
