Northeast Delta Dental Student Certification
Don’t forget – Northeast Delta Dental (NEDD) is conducting dental student certification on behalf of VEHI. NEDD will mail student certification letters on . Subscribers will have until to respond. If no response is received, the dependent will be removed from the plan and will not be eligible for coverage until the next open enrollment period. Remember that unlike health, dental coverage is not automatic to age 26. Dependents are covered only to age 19, but can be covered up to age 25 as long as they remain a full time student.
I would like to encourage you to log into the Vermont Online Licensing System (ALiS) and update your existing profile information. ALiS is a program that the AOE uses to provide information to you, the educator,as well as the Superintendent and/or designee. ALiS will be the mandatory tool used for license renewal effective this school year.
It is that time of year... contract season. Teachers your contracts are due back to the Central Office by May 1, 2015. Unionized Paraeducators and Bus Drivers, your letters of intent will be issued by May 15th and are due back to Central Office by May 30th. If you would like to request an extension to signing your contract or letter of intent, please submit to Jeanne Collins, Superintendent by your due date. Due to competitive pricing and increased benefits , as of January 1, 2015 we have changed our long term disability provider to Lincoln Financial Group. All teachers, and non-union employees with an FTE of 80% or higher are eligible, and enrolled in LTD. We are in the final stages of the implementation process. As soon as we receive updated plan information, this will be shared with all eligible employees.
We are very excited to announce that Invest EAP (Employee Assistance Program), will be offering FREE onsite confidential counseling and resources to all Rutland Northeast Supervisory Union employees.
