The Social Studies Department seeks to broaden students’ understanding of themselves and the world in which they live to become responsible and informed citizens of the 21st century. In addition to history, students study geography, politics, sociology, religion, economics, and the art of American and World cultures.  We emphasize the interrelationship of the past to the present at every level of our program.
