RNESU Superintendent Search Process

After eight years under the leadership of Jeanne Collins, the Rutland Northeast Supervisory Union is seeking a new leader. The board committee, made up of all RNESU board members, has hired Elaine Pinckney to assist them in the search process.  Elaine recently retired after fifteen years at the helm as superintendent of the Champlain Valley School District. She has previously served as principal in Morristown, Stowe, and Williston, and was the Deputy Commissioner of Education from 2003-2006.

The board is committed to finding an innovative and collaborative individual who holds students at the center of all decisions to lead the RNESU into the future.  They want your input.  They invite you to be a part of the process by making your thoughts known. They have planned surveys (Thought Exchange) and forums to hear your hopes and dreams for the next superintendent of RNESU.

What are your Hopes and Dreams for the next leader of RNESU?

Please take a few moments and tell the committee your thoughts on the most important skills, experiences, and characteristics that the ideal candidate should demonstrate.
